Who we are
Mississauga Gavel Club was founded in 2015, and for over a decade we’ve been helping students aged 12 to 18 build public speaking and leadership skills in a room that’s built for practice, not perfection. We’re part of Toastmasters International, so you’re learning the same structure that trains adult competitive speakers, just sized for people who are still building the courage to speak up.
Every year we host three competitions, giving members a real chance to put what they’ve learned to the test. It’s the difference between practicing in a room and actually performing under pressure, and that’s a skill that shows up everywhere, from class presentations to job interviews to just speaking up with confidence in everyday life.
